Jonite Street Furniture

Jonite has always been seen as primarily a grating company since bursting in the market in 1995, and after 15 years of providing high quality stone grates for countless of homes and projects, Jonite is now launching Jonite Street Furniture, an exciting new concept of street furniture. This new concept is attempting to eliminate the perception of stone as a bulky and heavy material. A typical stone bench would usually require huge heavy slabs. These slabs are usually carved or cut using natural stones and this can be a time consuming and expensive process. Jonite stone material is not only Green Label certified, it is also significantly lighter when designed correctly. It has also extremely high mechanical integritywhich greatly increases the duration it takes for the material to age and fade as compared to natural stones.

Jonite Design Services

In order to attain the sophisticated requirements of designers, Jonite Street Furniture can integrate with many other materials such as stainless steel, brass and timber etc. This gives the concept an added dimension when designing different types of street benches and site furnishing. By possibly utilising ready-made standard or customized components, Jonite aims to significantly reduce any tooling or customization cost being incurred. By doing so, Jonite Street Furniture can have all the high-end benefits without the high-end prices, bringing customized street furniture to a whole new level.
