JONITE Stone (reinforced) Tree-Grates are suitable for usage by pedestrians and pedal cyclists. Treegrates for Vehicular and Hard standing areas are available on a custom-made basis.

JONITE has many designs and sizes from our standard range of treegrates. Nonetheless, custom designs t o suit a special
requirement such as custom sizes, profiles, logos etc. are readily available. Unlike other conventional material, JONITE can accommodate smaller quantities on a custom built basis by incurring a small premium or tooling cost. We are also able to generate new designs from your sketches/ideas through computer aided 3D visual design (as shown above), which is absolutely free for all architects and designers with no obligations.

The Supporting Metal Frame, which is required in most tree-grates, comes in standard mild steel, hot dip installation by securing it to the concrete base supplied using anchor bolts galvanized or in zinc chromate with epoxy coating. Each Metal Frame is designed for easy or equivalents. Each frame construction is dependent on the types of tree-grate models used. The several methods of securing a metal-base-frame as shown above is dependent on the site construction. The Metal Frame is optional and drawing details can be obtained at no cost for your local fabrication if required. For more complex situations, special custom designs are available upon request. The Concrete Base, a pre-cast reinforced concrete foundation, is designed to make installation more convenient as no casting on the site is needed. It also helps to drain off excess inflow of water by its open gap configuration. Moreover, its most important feature is that of controlling surface rooting and retaining good soil condition within its capacity. The Concrete Base comes in 300mm solid base by 450mm (as shown above).

The Tree-Grate protects young trees from vandalism and strong winds. Unlike other conventional grilles that are mounted directly onto the subsoil, the tree-grille is designed to mount directly onto the inner ring of the Metal Frame with welded brackets. It is fabricated in mild-steel, zinc chromate and a black epoxy coating. Various sizes and designs are available.
