For the purposes of Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), Jonite is the data organisation responsible for your personal data.

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), Jonite is the data controller in respect of personal data processed through our sites.

• Shopify Inc.: e-commerce platform hosting our online shop and processing order data.

• Respond.io: customer communication platform used to manage enquiries and order-related messages.

• Craft CMS / Servd: website content management and hosting.

Jonite is based in Singapore. Some of our third-party service providers, including Google LLC and Shopify Inc., are based in or operate from countries outside Singapore, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the PDPA and, where applicable, UK GDPR and EU GDPR. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. As a general guide:

• Customer order and transaction records: 7 years from the date of the transaction, in accordance with Singapore commercial and tax record-keeping requirements.
• Enquiry and correspondence records: up to 3 years from the date of last contact.
• Marketing consent records: until consent is withdrawn, plus a reasonable period thereafter.
• Technical and usage data: up to 26 months, consistent with Google Analytics data retention settings.

Where personal data is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise it securely.
