Decorative breeze blocks made from natural aggregates. Consciously crafted + fully customisable.
From exterior facades and garden screens to interior feature walls, our breeze blocks are built for both. UV-stable, weather-resistant, and available in 16 colours — they're as comfortable outdoors as they are inside.
At 60MPa compressive strength and just 60mm thick, our breeze blocks are stronger than standard concrete at a fraction of the material. Water absorption of just 0.09% means they hold their finish and their form, year after year.
Every breeze block is made from 95% natural aggregates, a minimum of 30% recycled materials, and less than 1% silica. SGBP certified and LEED accredited, they're a responsible choice without compromising on design or performance.
01 / General
-
Our breeze blocks are crafted from a composite of 95% natural aggregates and 5% hybrid polymers, reinforced with a treated steel frame. Each block contains a minimum of 30% recycled materials. Our composite mix uses less than 1% silica, replacing substances like quartz with safer raw materials. This makes our products safer to work with and approved for use in countries like Australia, where silica content in construction materials is tightly regulated.
-
The difference is in the details. At 60MPa compressive strength and just 60mm thick, our breeze blocks outperform standard concrete at a fraction of the material. Water absorption sits at 0.09%, virtually none. And with 16 colours in a natural stone finish, there's no trade-off between how they look and how long they last.
-
Our standard range covers 10 variants across 16 colours. Beyond that, we offer fully bespoke options: custom colourways, unique patterns, and made-to-order configurations. Because breeze blocks carry fewer load requirements than our grating products, there's more design flexibility here than almost anywhere else in our range. Get in touch to explore custom options.

All our breeze blocks are made with at least 30% recycled aggregates, 95% natural materials, and less than 1% silica content, reducing carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to standard production methods. Our entire range is SGBP certified (4 ticks, leader) and LEED accredited, meaning specifying Jonite can contribute directly to your project's green building credentials.

02 / Suitability
-
Yes. Our breeze blocks are engineered to withstand UV exposure, rain, and temperature fluctuations without deteriorating, making them well-suited for exterior facades, screens, and partitions as well as interior feature walls.
-
Yes. For facades up to 2 metres, standard installation applies. For anything taller, we recommend consulting a structural engineer who can advise on local building regulations, supporting frames, and rebar reinforcements.
-
Yes. Our breeze blocks have passed the BS 476 Part 7: 1997 fire test with a Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame rating, indicating minimal tendency to support the spread of flame. A sound choice for projects where fire safety compliance is a requirement.
-
Yes. Because our breeze blocks carry fewer load requirements compared to our grating products, there's significant flexibility in customising open areas and configurations for ventilation. Contact our team to discuss your requirements.
03 / Installation + Maintenance
-
Our breeze blocks can be stacked and interlocked using standard masonry methods, just like traditional concrete blocks. Each product page includes key specifications to guide your installer. For facades over 2 metres or complex configurations, we recommend working with an experienced contractor. Detailed installation guides are available on request.
-
Yes. For straightforward installations, a general contractor with masonry experience is sufficient. For complex or large-scale projects, we recommend contractors familiar with architectural stone or composite materials. Our team can also provide consultation support if needed.
-
Low maintenance by design. The non-porous engineered stone surface resists dirt and staining. Mild soap and water is all that's needed for routine cleaning. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive materials that may affect the surface finish.
