Floor drains

Floor-level drainage that disappears into your finish. Our floor drains are built to sit beneath cut tiles from your own floor, creating a surface that's virtually invisible underfoot. All the function, none of the interruption.

Built tougher than traditional stainless steel, our floor drains are engineered to handle more than you'd expect from a bathroom drain. Insect-deterring strainers keep them more hygienic than standard alternatives, and the anti-stagnation design means less maintenance over a longer lifespan.

Our Tile-Up floor drains are designed to sit beneath your own floor tiles, creating a surface that blends seamlessly into the surrounding floor. No visible grate, no interruption to your finish.

Built from composite stone, our floor drains offer superior resistance to corrosion, cracking, and wear. The anti-stagnation design keeps water moving, while the insect-deterring strainer ensures the drain stays hygienic with minimal upkeep.

Every floor drain is made from 95% natural aggregates, a minimum of 30% recycled materials, and less than 1% silica. SGBP certified and LEED accredited, a responsible choice that doesn't ask you to compromise on finish or performance.

01 / General

  • Our floor drains are designed to be installed flush with your floor, with cut tiles from your own floor finish placed on top of the drain cover. This creates a surface that integrates seamlessly into the surrounding floor, making the drain virtually invisible underfoot.

  • The Tile-Up system is designed to work with most standard floor tiles. We recommend using tiles that are non-porous, homogeneous, and have a slip-resistant finish for best results in terms of safety and maintenance. Your tile supplier or contractor can advise on compatibility.

  • Our floor drains are engineered from composite stone, offering superior resistance to corrosion, cracking, and wear compared to standard concrete drains. They are rated for pedestrian applications in both residential and commercial settings.

  • Our floor drains are made with at least 30% recycled aggregates, 95% natural materials, and less than 1% silica content, with carbon emissions reduced by up to 80% compared to standard production methods. The full range is SGBP certified (4 ticks, leader) and LEED accredited.

02 / Suitability

  • Our floor drain range is designed primarily for indoor use. While the materials are durable enough to withstand outdoor conditions, the Tile-Up system is optimised for lower flow rates typical of indoor bathroom and wet area applications. For outdoor use where higher water volume is expected, we recommend exploring our sump cover range on the main Jonite website.

  • Our floor drains are rated for pedestrian applications only. They are not designed for areas with vehicle access or heavy mechanical load.

  • Yes. Our standard range covers 3 variants across 16 colours. For bespoke patterns, logos, or custom configurations, get in touch with our team to discuss what's possible.

  • Yes. For shower applications, we recommend the TILE600SD-25, which is specifically designed to handle the drainage requirements of shower wet areas. For other lengths or custom configurations, get in touch with our team to discuss what's possible.

03 / Installation + Maintenance

  • Installation follows standard floor drain fitting methods. The drain body is set into the floor, with your chosen cut tiles placed on top of the drain cover to create a seamless finish. Detailed installation guides are provided with every order and available on request.

  • Yes. A contractor experienced in bathroom or wet area fitting is well-equipped to install Jonite floor drains. For guidance on tile cutting and fitting, we recommend consulting your tile supplier alongside our installation documentation.

  • Our floor drains are designed for minimal maintenance. Clean regularly with mild soap and water. The anti-stagnation design prevents water from sitting on the surface, and the insect-deterring strainer keeps the drain hygienic with minimal effort. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may affect the stone finish or tile surface.

  • Yes. All models in the Tile-Up™ collection can be installed without tiles on top, making them suitable for shower areas and other wet area applications where a clean, minimal drain finish is preferred. Choose from 16 standard colours to complement your space.
