Composition

<1% crystalline silica

We’ve replaced materials, such as quartz, with safer raw materials. All our engineered stone bathroom grates now contain less than 1% silica, meaning they are authorised for use in Australia.

95% natural aggregates

Our decorative bathroom grates are made from at least 95% natural aggregates, with just 5% hybrid polymers. This results in a more sustainable product that offers a natural appearance and better durability.

30% recycled materials

Each bathroom grate is made with no less than 30% recycled materials. Excess stone and steel that don’t meet our stringent quality requirements are reclaimed and utilised in future manufacturing.

Reinforced with steel frames

Our bathroom grates are strengthened with treated steel frames, making them as durable as cast iron alternatives. Plus, by using 80% less steel in our production, we’ve reduced our carbon footprint by 16x.

Specifications

A new take on bathroom grating. Think classic designs and a contemporary stone finish.

01

Approved worldwide

All the materials in our grating products meet the latest global safety standards. This includes the new legislation that applies to products containing crystalline silica.

02

Non-slip surface

The naturally matte, slip-resistant surface of our modern bathroom grates meets the international safety classifications required for schools and hospitals.

03

Easy to maintain

Unlike steel bathroom floor grates, our stone grating can be cleaned without acid washes. Plus, the low water absorption rate makes the surface less prone to staining.

04

Sustainably made

Our eco-friendly bathroom grates contribute toward satisfying the MR Credit 4: Recycled Content under the LEED® Green Building Rating System.

Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore

Commercial

Opened in 2019, Jewel Changi Airport is a 135,700-square-metre mixed-use development designed by Moshe Safdie that seamlessly links Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Anchored by the 40-metre Rain Vortex—the world’s tallest indoor waterfall—Jewel’s toroidal glass-and-steel dome houses the Shiseido Forest Valley, a multi-tiered garden with over 2,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs. The structure’s grid shell maximizes daylight while reducing solar gain, demonstrating sustainable passive design. Blending transit, retail, hospitality, and nature across ten levels, Jewel offers a new model for experience-driven, biophilic architecture in civic infrastructure.
