Arcadia Collection

These decorative engineered stone tree grates are ideal for adding subtle arc designs to sidewalks or landscaped parks and gardens.

These ADA-compliant tree grates have been designed with the health of the tree in mind. The narrow waves keep litter from falling through and covering the soil, but still allow rainwater to reach the roots. Pick from a range of colours and textures, or create a completely custom circular tree grate design for your residential or commercial project. These tree grates were designed as part of our collaboration with the award-winning, visionary design studio, Rudolph Schelling Webermann (RSW©).

Composition

<1% crystalline silica

We’ve replaced minerals like quartz with safer composite materials. Every engineered stone tree grate now has less than 1% silica and meets Australian approval standards.

95% natural aggregates

Every tree grate is made from 95% natural aggregates and only 5% hybrid polymers. This combination makes our tree grating more sustainable, more durable, and more natural-looking.

30% recycled materials

Every Jonite tree grate is made with at least 30% recycled materials. Any excess steel or stone that doesn’t meet our production standards is repurposed for use in future projects.

Reinforced with steel frames

We strengthen our stone tree grates with treated steel frames, ensuring they’re as robust as cast iron alternatives. By reducing our steel usage by 80%, we’ve also cut our carbon footprint by 16 times.

Approved worldwide

All the materials in our grating products meet the latest global safety standards. This includes the new legislation that applies to products containing crystalline silica.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant

Jonite’s ADA-compliant tree grates are certified for use in hospitals, clinics, and public areas. This means that wheelchair users can navigate seamlessly around the grills.

Flexible + future-proof

All our decorative grates are compatible with any tree type. Some even have inner rings that can be removed as the tree trunk expands over time.

Light ports + sockets

All our tree grate designs can be adapted to include sockets or light ports so the trees can become illuminated at night.

Fade-resistant

Unlike some natural stone decorative gratings, Jonite’s tree grates won’t discolour—no matter how many times they come into contact with rainwater.

Non-slip surface

The naturally matte, slip-resistant surface of our ADA-compliant tree grates meets the international safety classifications required for schools and hospitals.

Minimises trip hazards

With proper drainage and more space for roots to grow, our decorative grates help prevent tree roots from lifting paving slabs and obstructing walkways.

Low heat absorbency

Jonite tree grate covers absorb less heat than traditional metal and cast iron grates, helping to reduce urban warming in cities and support healthy tree growth.
