Jonite’s involvement began in 2010 during the initial development of the Burj Khalifa precinct. As part of the first installation phase, Jonite’s engineered stone tree grates were selected for their ability to complement the contemporary aesthetics of the streetscape while offering durability and long-term performance in a high-traffic public setting.

When the boulevard underwent a significant renovation and extension in 2023, Jonite was once again selected—this time for a large-scale deployment. Over a thousand tree grates were installed along the expanded walkway, reinforcing Jonite’s reputation as a trusted partner in premium urban design. The tree grates not only protect the root systems of urban greenery but also contribute to the visual rhythm and identity of the boulevard.
